There are a few critical elements for a successful writing career that go beyond simply being a great writer. It all starts with an understanding of HOW books get chosen by publishers and agents. An understanding of the business of “querying” is essential—it can make or break an author’s career. 

The business side of publishing doesn't have to be scary or difficult. Collins -- with her background as a chain book buyer, Director or Sales for a top publisher, and now, literary agent with Talcott Notch—will walk you through the ins and outs of the current publishing business.

These EIGHT TUESDAY NIGHT CLASSES are held LIVE ON ZOOM and are designed specifically to deepen your understanding of how the publishing business works so that you can query agents and publishers successfully.
